Six year old Bricelynn Garrett is a kindergarten student who attends Southern Local Elementary School. He is a big brother who adores his little sister. He loves cars and trucks, the Paw Patrol, and camping with his friends and family.
Bricelynn was recently diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a type of brain cancer. This cancer is unfortunately common in children. He is looking at a future of surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy. Today, January 10th, Bricelynn started his long journey.
The Elementary staff and students gathered in the school gym to send Bricelynn pictures and well wishes before he entered surgery. The students and staff in grades 6 through 12 gathered in their gym later in the day to send their well wishes and pictures to Bricelynn.
